Glasgow rehearsals

We rehearse on Tuesday evenings between 7pm and 9pm.

Glasgow Choir

Our rehearsal space is in one of the local churches in Glasgow. Although we rehearse in a church, we are not affiliated with any particular faith.  We are very fortunate to have the support of the Police Scotland Chaplain, Reverend Neil Galbraith and appreciate his support in allowing us the use of this venue.

Members can meet from 6:30pm onwards for a cup of tea and a catch up in the wonderful "Haven" café (with marvellous volunteers) before singing begins and we look forward to welcoming you.

DO I NEED TO READ MUSIC?

No - as long as you can sing, are willing to learn and can hold a tune, you are more than welcome to join us.  We use sheet music for practice but we perform without.  It's a bonus if you can read music, but we have lots of support in place to help learning with section leads and section rehearsals, voice clips, mp3's etc

If you require any additional information, or if you would like to come along, please email the choir.

We have a SPCC committee consisting of the following members:

  • SPCC Manager Glasgow - Lynne Breckenridge
  • SPCC Chairperson - Jacqui Semple
  • SPCC Finance Manager - Richard Lanni
  • SPCC Web & Marketing - Monica Reid
