Scottish Police & Community Choir

We are The Scottish Police & Community Choir - a fabulously friendly group of people who come together with a common purpose - we just love to sing!

We are all about fun, friendship and fundraising by singing and performing with community engagement.

A mixed voice contemporary choir, we are committed to the wellbeing of members, inclusivity, promoting the health benefits of singing together for pleasure and supporting many good causes and charities along the way, showcasing a friendly face to Police Scotland.

Made up of serving police officers, police staff, retired police officers and support staff, partner agency staff, friends, family and members of the communities we serve, there are 100 members across two choirs - one in Glasgow area and one in the Perth area.  We rehearse and perform in our own time at fundraisers, charity functions, memorial events, celebrations of all kinds, both local and national, singing pop, rock and classic standards including many of our own arrangements of well-known pieces. We tailor our repertoire to enhance the events we are invited to and have bookings into 2021.  We have sung in London's Royal Albert Hall, performed for royalty and toured with Russell 'The Voice' Watson just to name a few.

We currently have rehearsals in Perth (covers all of the Tayside, Fife, Central area) and Glasgow (covering Strathclyde area) and both sections meet up on a regular basis for a joint rehearsal.

Our Musical Director for Perth region is Dougie Flower. Stephanie Strachan is Musical Director for the Glasgow region.
